Hi Everyone,
Over the last 6 months, there have been some significant changes within DTS that our management team want to share with you.
Earlier this year, DTS Directors, Steve Richie and Colin South, decided to take a step back from the daily business operations, which has meant the Heads of Departments, being Danii South (Administration Manager), Kevin Cox (Network Operations Manager) and Owen Hough (Sales Manager) are now responsible for the day-to-day management of DTS.
On the network side, DTS has recently been added by Google to set up a Google PNI, which has just gone live on our network this month!
Another exciting addition to our network is that DTS now has dual diverse 10Gbps fibre paths out of our Ashburton POP. Recently we have undertaken an extensive project to help build this additional resiliency between the Chorus and EA Network exchanges to ensure our clients there are getting the best available speeds and performance at all times, whilst removing any single point of failure on our network.
We are also able to accept orders for Chorus’ CDC product (close to real-time replication, to a 10GB wave inter-DC fibre) via the Chorus core DWDM network, from our Upper Hutt Data Centre now, that offers dedicated transit services between our DC and other ‘on-net’ locations (220 Queen Street + Datacom DC’s nationwide, with more locations to be added). Also available in our Wellington POI.
If you or your clients are interested in having close to real-time replication between DC endpoints please get in touch with your DTS account manager or by emailing sales@dtsanz.com for more information.
Please stay safe, and we wish you all the very best for the remainder of the year.
